The Full Adrenaline Adventure combines three thrilling activities into a single day—a sky tram, a canopy tour, and a river drift, which involves floating down one of the local rivers on inner tubes. This combo tour is a fun and diverse way to experience the Costa Rican outdoors.

Full Adrenaline Adventure

Arenal

This tour begins with the Sky Tram. These slow-paced gondolas ascend smoothly through the rainforest and offer up incredible views. A bilingual guide is on hand to provide tour participants with information on local plants, animals, and ecosystem dynamics. You’re also able to stop the tram at any point, which allows for unique photographs and tropical bird sightings. The Sky Tram ends at a large observation platform that is the highest point on the Arenal Reserve—from here you can enjoy views of the volcano, lake, rainforest, and mountain range.

What comes up must come down. From here, your adventure continues as you prepare to ride down a circuit of zip lines. The zip lines cover nearly 2 miles (3 km) of cables. You’ll cross canyons and fly through the treetops, giving you an entirely new perspective on the rainforest canopy. The cables range in height from 100 feet (30 m) to 650 feet (200 m) and in length from 650 feet (200 m) to 2,450 feet (750 m). The world-class equipment and professional guides ensure you with a safe experience.

After the canopy tour, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at the Chill Out Restaurant. Not only does this restaurant have tasty food, but it also serves up incredible views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.

After lunch, you’ll embark on the Sky River Drift. This portion of the tour starts by flying across three carbon-fiber zip lines. You’ll then arrive at the largest tree platform in Costa Rica, which is set at a height of 170 feet (51 m) in a strangler fig tree. Attached to ropes and a harness, you’ll descend down to the river, where you’ll be given a personal raft. Once situated, you’ll push yourself out into the river and enjoy a swift, 2.3-mile (3.7 km) float through the heart of the rainforest.

The transportation from/to hotels in La Fortuna area is available at an extra cost.
