Parking is available in the lot, and there are changing rooms where you can put on your swimsuit. Lockers are available for an extra charge, and you can rent towels if you didn’t bring your own.
Near the changing rooms is the Interactive Water Playground, which is suitable for kids of all ages. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Water cannons, smaller slides, and platforms of different heights are surrounded by a pool of thermal water.
Nearby is a tower nearly 35 feet tall (10.6 m) with three slides descending into a pool. “The Cyclone” and “the Tornado” twist and turn; “the Avalanche” bobs any riders up and down towards the water. Riders must be at least 6 years old and 4 feet tall to board the triple slide.
Facing the triple slide is the Mammoth Slide, the highest and fastest attraction in the park. Starting at over 41 feet (12.5 m) in the air, you zoom through 374 feet (114 m) of slippery tunnel to the pool below. Children over the age of 7 may ride this; all kids must be joined by an adult.
Two thermal pools offer a more relaxing soak. One pool is for families, and the other is for adults only. They flank either side of the park’s restaurant. A swim-up bar extends into each of the thermal pools. Bathrooms stand between the adult pool and the Mammoth.
The restaurant, Besa Mi Burro, is casual and serves pizza, grilled items, roast chicken, and the ever-classic Costa Rican casado. Parents can cool down and sip a beverage from the restaurant while keeping an eye on children still in the pool.
