Monteverde Cloud Forest and Curicancha Reserve

On this all-day tour, you'll be up in the clouds in one of the rarest environments in the world. This tour spans two interesting reserves, Monterverde and Curichancha. These are high-altitude forests that have an intense variety of rare plants and animals.

Provided it’s not too cloudy, you’ll have a lovely view of the trees and the birds. No matter what you see, you’ll hear exotic bird calls. Your guide is an expert at spotting wildlife—with their help, you’ll be able to see and hear much more than you would on your own. Quetzales and bellbirds are some of the most interesting and colorful birds you might get to see on the trail.

Between your visits to the two reserves, you’ll stop at a local family’s farm for lunch. Rancho de Lelo offers traditional dishes made with organic ingredients. This tour invites you to see where your meal came from, with lots of fresh produce, coffee, and sugarcane growing on the fertile grounds of the farm.
