Set in Playa Langosta near Tamarindo in the Guanacaste region, Cerca del Mar offers ten luxurious vacation houses. Guests will appreciate the privacy and security of the two or three bedroom villas as well as the Morrocan architecture, a plethora of tropical gardens, the fine attention to detail, and being next to the beach when staying at Cerca del Mar.
The unique features of the Cerca del Mar villas are designed for visitors to have their picturesque Costa Rican vacation. The floor and wall tiles are handcrafted. The doors and cabinetry made of tropical hardwoods. Cast stone water fountains, vaulted hardwood beamed ceilings, and custom kitchens enhance the vacation homes. The beach is just across the road and can be accessed from two locations. In addition, a secure and private entrance with a doorbell is provided at the houses.
The tropical or water gardens in the entryways of the villas give a taste of the extensive landscaping throughout the property. Indoor and outdoor gardens can be seen from every room of the house and surround the outdoor pool and patio area. The pool terrace offers an outdoor dining area covered by a pergola with a ceiling fan, gas grill, and comfortable seating. The pool has an outdoor fountain that empties soothingly into the water.
A custom designed kitchen is just inside from the outdoor dining area and is fully equipped with American-style appliances including a dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator, and garbage disposal. The Great Room has comfortable seating and is centrally located for views of the indoor and outdoor gardens.
The Cerca del Mar master bedroom is set amidst the tropical gardens and includes a covered terrace. The master bathroom has cast stone double sinks and also provides access to the gardens. A built-in dressing area and laundry facilities are features of the master bedroom. Upstairs, the Mirador bedroom suite offers a full bathroom with a shower that opens to an interior garden.
