Scuba Diver Beginner's Certification Course

Take this course if you want to experience diving but want a shorter diving course—this will allow you to decide if diving is something you want to pursue in the future. At the end of the 3-day course, you’ll be able to dive to a depth of 40 feet (12 m) under an instructor’s supervision. If you decide you want to dive deeper into the scuba diving world, you’ll take a another couple of lessons in order to receive your full certification and dive card.

During these lessons you’ll cover three theory modules, laying the foundation for safe diving. This includes three pool dives and two open water dives. Tamarindo typically has fairly calm water, making it easier for beginner divers.
