Gusto house is a tasteful hostel with chic décor and a hint of the Caribbean tropics. Within walking distance to some of the city’s best attractions it is one of the most accessible hostels in the area.

Gusto House creates a slightly different atmosphere than other hostels in the Camaguey area. While typical hostels feature tropical colors, Gusto House is styled more elegantly. The building is high- ceilinged and located on the ground floor. The two bedrooms are decorated minimalistically with only one gold framed mirror and a few four poster beds. The rooms are air conditioned and the bathrooms have hot water.

The rest of the house offers the basic amenities like refrigerator, mini bar and fully equipped kitchen. In the courtyards and the corridors green vegetation spills out onto the floor and climbs the walls. It’s as though the forest as tastefully crept into the house.

While the hosts do live in the house they treat you like family. Keys are given to you once you arrive so you may come and go as you please. You can even bring your pet! Breakfast is included.
