Casa Verde Valley

Known for its outstanding natural beauty, Viñales has a host of outdoor activities that take advantage of the landscape. Adventurous travelers can go rock climbing on the mogotes (large, ancient plateaus), tour the caverns hidden inside, or simply hike up for a breathtaking panoramic view. Beyond the mogotes lies the Viñales Valley, where the pace is a little slower. Here you will find long-standing coffee plantations and tobacco farms. Tour the farms, or go horseback riding through the fields. The town of Viñales itself is colorful and exciting, while retaining the small town vibe. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars, along with cultural events like live music and dancing at la Casa de Cultura.

Casa Valle Verde offers guests two air-conditioned bedrooms and a private bathrooms with hot and cold water. Guests will have this casa all to themselves.

The common spaces including a living room and fully equipped kitchen, in addition to the decorated and furnished front porch that looks out onto the avenue.

An interesting note about Casa Verde Valley is that the space often doubles as a stage for a community project called Window to the Valley. This organization puts on events that aim to revitalize and empower the development of Cuban cultural traditions in Viñales. Your hosts are knowledgeable and happy to share information on traditional dance, music, food, cinema and the history of the region.
