This 2-night, 3-day tour explores the Maya highland areas of Guatemala. You'll visit the market of Chichicastenango, the villages of Lake Atitlán (including both Panajachel and Santiago Atitlán), and the historic sites of Antigua.

On the first day of this tour you will head to Chichicastenango to visit both its colorful street market and venerable Santo Tomás Church. In the afternoon you will have time off to go shopping or to visit more of Chichicastenango on your own.
The second day, you will depart for Lake Atitlán early in the morning. Once you have arrived at the shores of the lake, you will take a boat ride to the picturesque town of Santiago Atitlán. After some time spent exploring Santiago Atitlán, you will hop back in the boat and return to Panajachel. During the afternoon, you are free to go shopping and get to know Panajachel on your own.
On the last day, you will depart for Antigua, the country´s last colonial-spanish capital, for a visit to some of its most important sites: churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial sites. In the afternoon you return to Guatemala City.

The Atitlán Nature Reserve is located along the shores of Lake Atitlán outside the town of Panajachel. This private reserve offers all kinds of fun activities, including hiking, zip lining, swimming, and more.

The San Pedro Volcano is set along the western shores of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. The village of San Pedro La Laguna lies at the base of this 9,908-foot (3,020-m) stratovolcano.
