On the first day of this tour you will head to Antigua in the morning. Antigua was Guatemala's last Spanish-colonial capital, and you will spend a short amount of time exploring this city. In the afternoon you will head to Chichicastenango and spend the night here (accommodations not included).
On the second day you will visit the colorful street market of Chichicastenango. Search for jewelry, textiles, and other souvenirs here. You will then visit the Santo Tomás Church, where you may see indigenous people performing ceremonial rituals on the church steps.
In the afternoon you will pass by Lake Atitlán for a short visit and then return to Guatemala City.

The Atitlán Nature Reserve is located along the shores of Lake Atitlán outside the town of Panajachel. This private reserve offers all kinds of fun activities, including hiking, zip lining, swimming, and more.

The Chichicastenango market is one of the most colorful and exciting markets in Guatemala. It’s open on Sundays and Thursdays and is an interesting cultural experience for travelers.
