Lima is the largest city in Peru, so it may not be surprising that this is a busy and sometimes gritty place. Despite this fact, Lima does have many redeeming features. The cuisine here is some of the best in all of Peru—you can enjoy national specialties and foreign fusions. There are a number of places to shop, and an awesome nightlife in the Barranco neighborhood. Cultural attractions include old cathedrals, interesting museums, and colonial mansions.
Casa Andina Classic Miraflores Centro is conveniently located in Lima’s Miraflores district. It’s easy to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping malls from here. The hotel is comfortable and the staff is friendly.
The hotel has 58 spacious and well-equipped rooms. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. All rooms are non-smoking and come with a private bathroom and hot water shower. Air conditioning keeps the rooms cool (an especially nice amenity during the hotter months), and there is a safety deposit box for storing valuables. The rooms have wooden floors, TVs, and bedside reading lamps.
A breakfast buffet is offered daily. There are a nice variety of options to choose from, including eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit, bread, coffee and more. The hotel has a simple gym where you can work out with stationary bikes, elliptical machines, and free weights.
Guests can check email and surf the web at the hotel’s Internet center, and pull out cash from an onsite ATM. Have dirty clothes? Drop them off before 10 AM and they’ll be returned after 5 PM that same day. There is also a nice common area in the lobby where you can read or use the free Wi-Fi.
