Get ready for the ultimate adrenaline adventure! The Death Road, once infamous as the world’s most dangerous road, is now a thrilling downhill ride that takes you from the icy peaks of the Andes to the lush jungles of the Yungas — all in one epic day.

Pick up from the hotel and we transfer to the meeting point where we start the most exiting ride ever known as the Death Road. Beginning the ride at wind-swept La Cumbre with a fantastic view of a number of snow-covered peaks, including Huayna Potosi. From here descend rapidly down a twisting road among mountain peaks, grazing llamas and alpacas, tiny villages and a drug check-post. Stop for refreshments and a rest along the way, all the better to give us time to take in the scenery: towering cliff faces, dramatic drops and ever greener vegetation. After a snack descend further, and after a brief undulating section of road enter the jungle itself and the most challenging section of the ride. This infamous narrow dirt road is cut precariously into the side of the mountain and descends 2,000m. With 1,000m sheer drops off to our left, hulking rocks and waterfalls to our right, ride through mist, low cloud and dust. As passengers are near to the end of the ride it gets progressively hotter and dustier. Arrive to Yolosa and enjoy lunch, spend time relaxing with a cold drink. Then return to La Paz. Transfer to the hotel.
