Waterfalls in Ecuador

With big mountains and wide rivers, it should come as no surprise that there are many wonderful waterfalls in Ecuador. The waterfalls here are stunning and utterly scenic — many crash through rocky, forested areas and land in calm emerald pools. Some waterfalls may require a hike to get to, which will allow you to see plants and animals along the way. Other waterfalls are easily accessible from the road, but are magnificent nonetheless.
