Hello! I'm Daniel, and I am a native of Havana, Cuba — I have lived here since I was born. I've witnessed my nation crumble, be reborn, and survived the stages in-between. I can say, without exaggeration, that Cuba is magical, interesting, and folkloric...the wonder of Havana is that it is truly a city stopped in time. This isn't always a bad thing. I can't imagine my life away from hearing the cannon ball sound every night at 9:00 p.m.; scent and feeling of the briny sea air on my way to work; our spirited people, and our architecture.
I have travelled around this island nation and known the warm people of Santiago; experienced the beauty of nature in Viñales; the charm of Trinidad; and the amazing tranquility of Varadero and Northern Key's beaches. I love to spend time with my family and friends, and listen to every kind of music — you can find everything from Mozart to Reguetton (Reggaeton) in my playlist. If you're a fan of music too, Cuba is famous for its live music and dancing, so we can certainly add these activities to your itinerary. Like most people in Cuba, I'm also a fan of baseball, and enjoying the exchange of opinions in a good debate — you'll find locals enjoying each in Cuba's parks.
