Hostal Polovoh
Hostal Polovoh offers four rooms in the Nuevo Vedado neighborhood. This guesthouse has been around since the 1990s, and the owners are experienced hosts.
From Nuevo Vedado you can walk to the Colón Cemetery, which was established in the 19th century to provide a final resting place for Havana’s elite. It has elaborate, marble mausoleums and offers a lovely place to go for a stroll. To the west of the casa you’ll find the Almendares River and the Almendares Park, or you can walk south to the Metropolitan Park. These green spaces have interesting attractions that make them a good place to wander — you might be surprised at what you find.
This hostel is in a spacious house with open and airy common areas. There is a sitting room with a piano, and lovely indoor and outdoor dining areas. Guest rooms are located on the top floor of the house, and they come with private bathrooms that supply hot and cold water, as well as stocked minibars. All of the rooms have air conditioning. On the upper floor you’ll also find a communal space on the terrace where you can admire the greenery that surrounds the house.
This guesthouse has its own spa, and the cosmetologists offer beauty treatments made with algae. During your stay you can also sign up for yoga and pilates classes. Hostal Polovoh also offers breakfast, dinner, and laundry service.
