While you’re here, you might want to take a few short trips to nearby cities like Matanzas and Santa Clara. These cities have incredible architecture; Matanzas with its pretty bridges and Santa Clara’s striking monuments to Che Guevara. Leaving Varadero, you can explore underground wonders like the Bellmar Caves or the Saturn Cave — bring your swimming suit so you can take a dip in its clear, cool pool.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms for guest use. The bathrooms come stocked with basic amenities and the hosts swap out the towels every two days. Upon your arrival, your friendly host will entrust you with the keys to the apartment. If you’d like, the hosts can provide extras like breakfast and dinner or doing your laundry.
