Beaches of Panama

Combined, Panama’s Pacific and Caribbean coastlines stretch for over 1,540 miles (2,475 km). That number, however, doesn’t include the countless islands that are scattered along both sides of the country. Beaches border most of this and come in all sizes, shapes and colors—from crescent, white-sand beaches to broad stretches of brown sand, Panama’s beaches give you options. Forests line some beaches, and there are others with healthy coral reefs just offshore. Whether you’re searching for a spot to sunbathe or snorkel, these beaches are fantastic places to visit for the day.
