With dark wood furniture and grey accents, Hostel Mediterraneo has a classy and elegant atmosphere. The house rents one bedroom with private bathroom to a lucky guest or couple. The bed is large enough to share and hosts will do anything in their power to make your stay comfortable. They do remain in the house but they have professional and friendly service.
The house has hot water, air conditioning and a complete kitchen. The refrigerator and mini-bar are open for guests to save leftovers or make a quick cocktail. The hosts also provided breakfast and offer dinner for a reasonable price.
All these amenities will make your stay in Santa Clara easy and convenient. Walk past the Che memorial or around the bustling Parque Vidal before turning in.
Great room, and well-situated hostel. Dinner at the hostel was very good, but way too much food and over-priced in our minds. We're not big eaters. Unfortunately, our original tour guide for the area was unavailable, so the proprietor filled in. He was fine, but isn't a tour guide. Lunch was okay, but not as good as other fare we had around Cuba.
