Margaret House

Margaret House is a classic large Cuban house. The house is decorated with nods to Santa Clara’s history. When a coastal town, Villa Clara was under siege from pirates, the inhabitants fled inwards and founded the city of Santa Clara. The wall murals of pirates, beaches and crashing waves obviously reflect this past.

The house offers four bedrooms for rent each with their own private hot water bathroom. The beds frames are made from a dark wood that highlights the deep navy blankets. There is a mini-bar, refrigerator and safety box for each guest to use in order to make their stay more convenient. The courtyard is very beautiful and welcoming. A fountain trickles on one side while lush plants fill the other. Benches are placed around to encourage guests to lose themselves in the Cuban sun.

Margaret House has a restaurant and bar that is reserved for guests only. The complimentary breakfast is served here but you can also order some wonderful local cuisine. Margaret is famous for her tasty chicken and vegetable soup.
