Hostal Santaella

Visitors come to Trinidad to see the colonial architecture. Go to the lovely Plaza Mayor to see beautifully preserved buildings, and a central square dotted with sculptures and palm trees. From here, you’ll be just a short walk from some of the area’s best museums. Learn more about Trinidad’s style at the Museo de Arquitectura Colonial (Museum of Colonial Architecture), and then stroll to the Museo Romántico to look at the antique finery that might have decorated a wealthy colonial home. In this area, you can also walk to restaurants, cafés, and bars.

Rooms have simple but attractive furnishings. They are bright and colorful and come in shades of pink, blue, and green.

There is an equally colorful terrace that offers a splendid view of the city. Guests can help themselves to the hostel’s minibar.
