This tour begins with an easy nature walk to see Saturn Cave, which is just 7.5 miles (12 km) outside of Matanzas. Sunlight reaches the interior of the cave, and a clear, subterranean pool offers a beautiful place for a swim. You’ll stop here long enough to explore the cave’s interesting recesses.

Your tour continues via a classic car to the city of Varadero. While you’re here, you’ll have your choice of historic homes — either the Xanadu Mansion, which was built in the 1920s and maintains the furniture from that era, or La Casa de Al. La Casa del Al is supposed to be Al Capone’s former home, although its history is dubious. In any case, it’s a beautiful house on the beach and one of the best restaurants in Varadero.
