When you first arrive in Cienfuegos you will want to get a feel for the city. A great way to do this is to take the Cienfuegos City tour. You will get to explore the city on foot with a english speaking guide.
The tour lasts 4 hours and starts at 9:00 in the morning. Your first stop is the Palacio del Valle. This beautiful old palace is home to an upscale resturant where you will enjoy a cocktail. The colorful tile work is unlike anything you will see outside of Cuba.
Next you will be lead into the Thomas Terry Theater. The theater has obvious French and Italian influence that make it one of the grandest buildings on the island. The tour's path will take you down the palm tree lined Prado. You will have a gorgeous view of the sea before heading back to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
