Hostel Betina

This two story colonial house is a professional hostel similar to those in Europe. They offer three bedrooms each with separate bathroom. Each room has their own terrace that looks out over the ocean or the city.

The rest of the house blurs the lines of exterior and interior. In the kitchen, brick archways frame painted murals of cityscapes. On the open restaurant terrace you will find similar archways and the real version of the murals inside. The restaurant serves excellent food and cocktails while you admire the view. Breakfast is included but other meals are not.

Hostel Betina is located in the center of Gibara. From its convenient location you can access the Museo de Historia Natural that is nearby. The museum boasts a large whale skeleton and other stuffed local animals.
