Get a varied look at the many aspects of Cuba that surround Bayamo. Not only will you see the famous spot of the Castro Brother’s arrival but many other little historic details.

The Granma Landing Tour will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am. This full day tour will bring to you to very different, yet all important spots that showcase Cuban history. First you will stop at the city of Manzanillo. This port city is small but was the main arrival point during the slave trade.

Next you will happen upon a Crocodile Farm and get an intimate look at these swamp giants. After spending sometime in the sun you will escape inside to the Museum Demajagua. Your guide will educate you on the history and explain the importance of the artifacts.

Finally, you will come to the main destination. Granma was the yacht that carried Fidel Castro when he was exiled from Mexico. The landing spot is surrounded by dense mangrove trees. The 81 men aboard is ship had to wade through several miles of mangrove swamp before they reached solid ground. You will walk through the same dense nature to view the landing port.
