Hello! I’m Bitty, and I’ve been passionate about travel and tourism since 1975—back when I was still in high school. What began as a youthful curiosity grew into a lifelong career. I formally trained as a travel professional, earning a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Tourism Management from Italy’s Scuola Internazionale de Scienze Turistiche (SIST).
When I returned home to Guatemala, my goal was clear: to share the beauty, culture, and natural richness of my country with travelers from around the world. Over the years, I’ve helped design journeys to lesser-known destinations and develop specialized travel experiences, including positioning Guatemala as one of the world’s premier birdwatching destinations.
Travel is not only my profession—it’s also at the heart of my family life. I feel truly blessed to share this passion with my husband, our three incredible children, and a grandchild who, at just five years old, already loves birdwatching. We enjoy taking adventurous trips together as a family, and my husband and I especially love long walks outdoors and photographing birds.

Everything was perfect! The hotel was a great great location!! The hotel itself was amazing- from the view to the service to the drinks and food. The room was better than expected and the excursions that were set up were also excellent!!

This is the second time we have used Anywhere to plan a trip to Central America. The advise we received on locations to visit, places to stay and experiences to book were spot on. I’ve now taken two trips booked through Anywhere travels (Costa Rica and Belize) and both experiences were fantastic! We Dreamt. Then We Went.
When we told our family and friend that we were going to Guatemala, their first impression was your kidding. The country is not safe. Let me say we had a fantastic time from beginning to end of our trip. Guatemala has a lot to present and the country has a lot of history and the people are wonderful. I would come back again. In general I would say we had no issues with the Itinerary and the drivers of Anywhere were very professional and most of all kept us safe where ever we went. The hotels that we stayed were very nice and in safe location.
