What Are Myanmar’s Border Crossings Like?
When you arrive at the airport, you will be asked to present your passport (valid for at least 6 months) and your tourist visa.
At the moment, you can only travel across land borders from Myanmar into Thailand. You need a special permit to travel to India and China from Myanmar. Foreigners are not allowed to travel to Laos or Bangladesh from Myanmar.
