Grand United Hotel

Grand United Hotel is a 10-minute taxi ride from the Shwedagon Pagoda, which is one of the most striking pagodas in all of Myanmar. From a lofty vantage point, you can see its golden spires shimmering in the distance. Travel 10 minutes to the east of the hotel to see another beautiful pagoda — the downtown Sule pagoda. Near the Sule Pagoda, you’ll find the busy Maha Bandula Street, which has Yangon’s Chinatown. Check out some of the restaurants in this vicinity.

Rooms are brightly lit and simply furnished. The most basic rooms don’t have windows but larger rooms have views of either the pagoda or the river. Rooms come equipped with LED TV, and there is Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. All of the rooms come with private bathrooms that come with showers and bathtubs

Grand United Hotel has a restaurant and a cafe. Breakfast is included in your stay, and you’ll find international as well as Burmese options. There are stations for hot egg and noodle dishes.
