The Gulf of Chiriquí is somewhat removed from the rest of Panama. Largely because of this, the environment is well intact. Indeed, some of the country’s largest coral reefs and mangrove forests are found here. The gulf is scattered with islands that are perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling or swimming, and there are opportunities for scuba diving and deep-sea fishing as well.

Each of the five bungalows is nicely decorated with soothing colors and simple architecture. Designed for two people, these bungalows have either one queen-size bed or two full size beds. The beds have orthopedic pillow top mattresses and 400-thread-count sheets. Private hot water bathrooms, equipped with a hair dryer, toiletries and towels, makes bathing a pleasure. There is air conditioning to keep the rooms cool, and an in-room safe to keep valuables secure. Free wireless Internet is available in every bungalow (and other parts of the hotel) and there is satellite TV as well. Incredible ocean views can be enjoyed from the private balcony, which provides a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset.

During the day, guests can unwind at the beach or cool off in the hotel’s swimming pool. There are chairs for sunbathing both by the pool and at the hotel’s small private dock, which extends into the Gulf of Chiriquí. Meals can be enjoyed at the onsite restaurant. A complimentary à la carte breakfast is served every morning. Lunch and dinner options offer a revolving menu of both Panamanian and international cuisine. Local fishermen deliver fresh seafood to the hotel daily. There is a bar, too, where guests can order beer, cocktails, or wine.
