What Is Panama's Currency?
Panama’s currency is the balboa. Panama does not, however, print its own paper currency and US dollars are legal tender. Panama’s coins are similar to U.S.; in size, shape and amount and are used interchangeably. Travelers coming from the U.S. will not need to exchange money at the border or airport.

We believe travel is more than ticking destinations off a list – it’s about discovering new places deeply, feeling connected wherever you go, and knowing you have a trusted team behind you every step of the way.
