What is Panama's population and ethnic makeup?
As of 2013, Panama’s population was around 3,560,000. The population is relatively young, with only 14.4 percent over the age of 55. Over 70 percent of the people are mestizo (mixed Amerindian and white), 14 percent are West Indian, 10 percent are white, and 6 percent are Amerindian. West Indians live largely along the Caribbean coast in the Bocas del Toro province. There are also smaller numbers of Chinese, Indian, and European immigrants.

We believe travel is more than ticking destinations off a list – it’s about discovering new places deeply, feeling connected wherever you go, and knowing you have a trusted team behind you every step of the way.
