If you’re a total newbie, the beginner course is for you. You’ll pick up all the essential knowledge you need to get started, from standing on a board correctly to choosing the right waves to catch. Patient, friendly instructors will help to learn the best techniques.

You’ll start on the beach practicing your stance, and then they’ll accompany you out towards some beginner-sized waves and teach you how to paddle to a good spot for take off. Learn how to pop up on your board, turn properly on the wave, and keep safe in the water. After taking this tour, you’ll be able to confidently stand up while riding beach breaks so make sure there’s someone standing by with a camera!
