It takes just 10 minutes to get from the residence to the archeological zone of Old Bagan. During a visit here, try to get in a hot air balloon tour to see the temple spires from above. This area is also fun to explore on bike—with so many temples to see, it’s worth trying to cover a lot of ground in one go. These accommodations are near the banks of the Irrawaddy River, and you can leave for boating trips that take you to explore surrounding caves.
