You can walk from the temple to Shwesandaw Pagoda, which is one of the largest and grandest of the Bagan temples. Not far from here you can see Thatbyinnyu Temple, which is the tallest temple in Bagan at 200-feet (61 m) tall. Many of the temples have been partially restored, but guides can still show you some original, ancient inscriptions that were carved sometime in the 12th century. This is a beautiful destination to explore on a bike tour.
