Although Bayview is one the secluded northern end of the beach, there are still a few seaside restaurants within walking distance. The clear water and coral reef just offshore make this a popular place for snorkeling. Fishing is the main occupation in the surrounding villages, and you can take boating trips to see the fishermen in action. Traditional longboats still dot the shore, and Ngapali’s villages still have traditional culture. Rent a bike to explore these villages as well as the rest of the beach.
Bayview has a total of 45 bungalows — choose from accommodations either in the gardens or facing the beach. The resort offers laundry and dry cleaning. Private bathrooms have separate bathrooms and shower. Guests can rely on room service as well as everything needed to make coffee and tea. There’s also a minibar.
There is Wi-Fi available in the resort’s public areas. Business travelers can take advantage of the resort’s secretarial services. Babysitting is also available upon request. There’s a library as well as a photo exhibit by local artists.
Bayview’s spa offers western as well as traditional massages and skin treatments. Unwind even more in the steam room. The resort has a lovely swimming pool as well as a hot tub.
There are two restaurants on the grounds of the resort, and both specialize in seafood as well as Burmese curries. You can also expect some upscale European fare. Breakfast is included in your stay, and the buffet features lots of fresh fruit, made-to-order eggs, and traditional Myanmar dishes like noodles and soups.
