Hotel Versalles

Chitré is growing and modernizing, but there are still charming areas of the city. Stroll the streets near the cathedral and you’ll see red-roofed houses, men wearing traditional hats, and people lounging in the plaza. Day trips can be made to the cute town of Parita or to La Arena, which has wonderful pottery shops. Outdoor excursions include visits to the Cenegón del Mangle Wildlife Refuge and the Sarigua National Park.

Hotel Versalles has rooms that are spacious and clean. The rooms are cheerfully decorated with yellows and blues. There is a small business center where guests can use computers and access the Internet. Hotel Versalles also has an event space that can hold up to 500 people. It’s equipped with projectors and a screen, a TV, stereo, and podiums. It’s a great place for meetings, banquets, or parties.
