Are there bookstores in Panama?
Panama does not have a wealth of bookstores. There are, however, some bookstores in larger cities and more touristy areas, including Panama City, David, Bocas del Toro, and Boquete. As tourism increases in Panama, there may be a corresponding rise in English-language bookstores. For the time being, new books aren’t cheap. Travelers may be able to find used book exchanges in hostels, hotels, and other tourist establishments.
