Are there bookstores in Panama?
Panama does not have a wealth of bookstores. There are, however, some bookstores in larger cities and more touristy areas, including Panama City , David , Bocas del Toro , and Boquete . As tourism increases in Panama, there may be a corresponding rise in English-language bookstores. For the time being, new books aren’t cheap. Travelers may be able to find used book exchanges in hostels, hotels, and other tourist establishments.
