My family and I enjoy spending our free time traveling throughout Costa Rica because our country is just so beautiful — you can never get enough. We're also big foodies and love dining outside, so I have the restaurant recommendations you need to enjoy the best meals while you're traveling.

My love and I just returned from a trip to Costa Rica, on a trip in which "Anywhere" was part of our planning. For those who want to hear my overall opinion, I will say that the our planner Jessica and the people who provided our services were fabulous in every day. This included not only the guides, a major plus, but the drivers as well. As for a little more detail... Our situation was probably somewhat unusual in that we were in Costa Rica to participate in a week-long retreat on the Caribbean coast, completely unconnected to Anywhere Costa Rica, but then reached out to them to help guide us in arranging a couple of days of activities that we could do while extending our visit. Based on our expressed interests, including whitewater rafting, our planner Jessica suggested a trip several hours away to the La Fortuna area upon completion of our retreat week. Our arrangements included transportation to the town, an experience that was pleasant and seamlessly executed. We ended up going on the whitewater rafting experience, and also going to the Mistico Hanging Bridges and the Eco Termales pools. The rafting experience even included a trip to a farm to taste sugarcane juice, an experience we didn't know we would have, and the hanging bridges included a lunch stop at an eatery that featured the traditional "casado" dish that we had not yet tasted. Jessica did a great job in hitting our "sweet spot" of wanting comfortable but not overly expensive lodging, and the location of the hotel in La Fortuna (Montechiari) was delightfully close to several good restaurants and not far at all from the town center. We only wish that we had had more time to explore the town itself. I want to note, also, that Jessica was extremely patient with me as I did some back and forth about the rafting, asking her at one point to make a reservation for a less physical option due to a medical condition that I had thought would force this change, and then asking her to re-book the original trip. Our final experience with the agency was with the transportation that they provided to the airport, which was an extended trip like the one between the coast and La Fortuna. Again, the driver was right on time, and helpful and pleasant. I will also note that I worked with the agency perhaps seven or eight years ago to plan my entire visit to Costa Rica, and was also highly satisfied with their services and responsiveness. In summary, I would highly recommend Anywhere Costa Rica as a partner in helping make a visit to the country "pura vida," regardless of whether you are planning a short visit or a long one. I am sure you will pleased that you did.
