Mathis Lodge

“Mathis Collection” has selected the pristine area of Amed to expand its operations with a third hotel: Mathis Lodge. Our guests will enjoy a timeless journey to the roots of this magical island.

Mathis Lodge is located on a beautiful parcel of land of 2 hectares at 400m above the sea. The cottages stand out of the slopes of the Léan valley, surrounded by lush green backgrounds. The world-renowned Mt.Gunung Seraya volcano dominates the landscape and is home to the famous Pura Lempuyang temple and its 1600 steps (Alt. 1175m). The backdrop displays the village of Amed and the turquoise waters of the Lombok Strait.

The property consists of 20 lodges (built in wood and Alang Alang) and respects the Balinese architectural standards. Mathis Lodge invites you to a natural environment, unique to Bali.

Some cottages have an open-air Jacuzzi (spa) and the hotel has an infinity swimming pool. The largest lodges are suitable for up to 4 people and include full comfort.

Our restaurant has spectacular views and our panoramic bar (overlooking the property) is a great location to contemplate the area with a drink in your hand.
