This resort has a total of 39 acres (16 ha) of its own pristine reserve, just a short distance to the east of West Bali National Park. The park is a beautiful and biodiverse place to explore on foot or on a bike, along with a guide who can point out some of the reclusive animals and medicinal plants that makes up this ecosystem. During your stay, you’ll blend in with nature with a stay in one of the comfortable “glamping" tents.
From here, you can take a boat to explore Menjangan Island, one of the most interesting spots to see wildlife in Bali, especially on diving and snorkeling tours. This area is home to rare sea life, like pygmy seahorses and hawksbill sea turtles. Along the shore, you can visit beautiful, secluded beaches where you can spot the island’s famous deer that like to dip their hooves into the waves.
Accommodations come in the form of durable safari tents. You might mistake the interiors for a room at an upscale resort — they even have air conditioning and ceiling fans, as well as 24-hour room service. For a little extra luxury, consider booking one of the cliffside tents that comes with a private pool. The tents are spaced so that you get your own little piece of the resort to yourself. They all come with private bathrooms, which are equipped with showers and hair dryers. The staff can ensure you always have a fresh outfit with their handy room service.
Guests can access Wi-Fi in their tents, and each comes with international direct dial telephones. For a little entertainment, you can turn to the tent’s TV and DVD player. Menjangan Dynasty has a library where you can check out DVDs as well as books. Put a little pep in your step with the coffee and tea making facilities in the tent, and you can keep your own drinks and snacks in the tent’s mini fridge. If you have valuables that you’d like to keep locked away, there are safety deposit boxes.
Communal spaces incorporate local materials like bamboo, for an authentically Balinese feel. There’s a beachside bar and dining area, as well as comfortable cabanas right on the private beach. If you’re tired at the end of a long day of hiking, you can get around the grounds via a buggy service. Menjangan Dynasty offers spa services in an open-air pavilion, where you can enjoy the sounds and the fresh air of the beach. You can also visit the resort’s large pool that’s deep enough to dive into. For the most active guests, the grounds even include an exercise room and a pavilion that’s ideal for yoga.
