You’ll leave early in the morning — at 4:00 AM! — to get to the top in time to watch the sunrise. It can get quite cold on the volcano, but the closed Jeep keeps the freezing winds away. Buckle up, though — you’re in for a bumpy, adventurous ride! It takes just 2 hours to get to the top of the volcano in the Jeep.

Once you arrive, you’ll remain in the vehicle with a warm mug of coffee until just before the sun rises. At that point, you’ll hop out to take photos, at an incredible elevation of 11,398 feet (3,474 m). Afterward, you’ll begin the descent, this time with enough sunlight to appreciate the incredible environs.

Note: This tour is not for anyone with back problems or motion sickness. Anyone pregnant or with altitude sickness issues is not allowed on this trip. You may or may not have a clear view from the top, depending on the weather. The tour may be cancelled due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
