Howlers Bay

Howlers Bay Hotel on Boca Brava, one of Panama’s most exciting islands for observing marine life. The accommodations offer the best of both worlds, with lots of comforting hotel amenities in the midst of a pristine island.

From Isla Boca Brava, you’ll be about a 40-minute boat ride from the protected waters of the Parque Nacional Marino Golfo de Chiriquí. This national park is a prized destination for sport fishing, as well as scuba diving and snorkeling. While you stay at Howlers Bay Hotel, you’ll wake up surrounded by the lush Chiriquí landscape. You can hop in a kayak and explore the island’s coastline and its many beaches. On the island itself you can hike down trails through miles of howler monkey habitat. These nature trails are also a good place to spot tropical birds and butterflies.

You have the option of staying in a hardwood cabin or camping in one of the hotel’s tents. The tent comes with a double bed, and the cabin has an open floor plan with one queen bed. Both types of accommodations come with a view of the ocean.

When you stay in the tent, you’ll have access to a shower and a kitchen. Tents also have a good Wi-Fi connection, as well as electricity.

The hotel can provide breakfast or dinner upon request. Guests can use the communal Howlers Bay kitchen, and grill at the campsite’s barbecue.
