This tour provides travelers with the opportunity to dive off the Atlantic coast of Panama near the town of Portobelo. You'll take two dives, one of which is near the wreck of an airplane.

This diving tour will take place near the bay of Portobelo. In the 16th and 17th centuries, Portobelo was used as a major port for shipping treasure from South America back to Spain. Diving in these historic waters is sure to be an exciting experience.

As a participant on this tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Panama City at 8 AM and drive to Portobelo, which takes about 1.5 hours. After meeting up with your captain and divemaster, you'll head out to the first dive site at "Drake" Island. Named after Sir Francis Drake, this island is where Sir Francis Drake was buried in a lead coffin at sea. The coffin was never found, so keep your eyes out for anything unexpected!

The second dive takes place at the wreck of a B-45 airplane. Be on the lookout for colorful tropical fish, including yellowtail snappers, blue tangs, and sergeant majors.

You'll have lunch after the second dive and will then go for a short ride around the town of Portobelo. After driving around Portobelo, you'll head back to Panama City and will reach your hotel between 4 and 5 PM.
