El aeropuerto principal de Panamá está localizado justo a las afueras de Ciudad de Panamá. Conocido como el Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, este aeropuerto recibe vuelos de todo el mundo. También hay otro aeropuerto internacional en la ciudad de David; sin embargo, desde aquí no se realizan tantos vuelos internacionales. El código para el Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen es PTY. Mientras que el aeropuerto de David, el cual es conocido oficialmente como el Aeropuerto Internacional de David "Enrique Malek", tiene el código DAV.
Asimismo, pasar por la aduana de estos aeropuertos es directo y sencillo. Después de recoger el equipaje y pasarlo por la máquina de rayos X junto con los oficiales panameños, deberá entregar su hoja de aduana y así le sellarán el pasaporte. El proceso completo usualmente tarda alrededor de 30 minutos.
