To see more wildlife, visit nearby downtown Ubud to see the Monkey Forest. Farther south of Ubud, you can visit the Bali Bird Park. Hikes and biking tours of the surrounding countryside reveal waterfalls and rice terraces. You might also visit fascinating cultural sites, like the Goa Gajah, an ancient temple located inside a cave. In Ubud itself, you might take a city tour to places like the Ubud Royal Palace and the art market. See more art in nearby artist villages, where traditional artisans can show you how they make their intricate handicrafts.

There’s a complimentary daily yoga class on the rooftop pavilion that’s included in your stay. Instructors keep class sizes small — they’re limited to just 10 students. Continue to relax next to the pool, with a glass of wine or a beer from the bar. Beautiful foliage and decorative stones make the area surrounding the pool especially inviting.
