Lovely times in Havana Vieja…
We spent the first few days at Havana Vieja. We stayed at Prado Colonial, where Otto, Negra, and Leila went out of their way to make us feel welcome — as if we were staying in our own home. Generous breakfast and customized too! This gave us a great impression of Cuba on the first few days. The local tours were interesting. Rafa, our driver, and guide was one of the warmest and friendliest people I've ever met!
Warm welcomes from Trinidad…
In Trinidad, we stayed at Don Jose 1817, where we had a wonderful family of hosts, and their staff was so sweet. They were ready for us with an early check-in. We took a tour to Manaca Iznaga Valley and I want to praise our guide Julieta. She brought bottles of water for us and made sure that we were enjoying the tour at our pace.

I really appreciated the amazing, amazing communication with Anywhere before and during the trip. It helped us feel safe and never in a pinch. Jose was extremely responsive to all my questions about travel, visas, tours, and more. We truly couldn't have asked for more.

Old Havana (Havana Vieja)
Spanish conquistadors started building Havana in 1519. The city became an important port in the second half of the 16th century. Over the years the old section of Havana has become an important showcase of Moorish, baroque, neoclassical, and art nouveau architecture. Each plaza and neighborhood of Old Havana has a distinct look and personality.
Trinidad
Trinidad is a charming, colonial city in central Cuba. Its cobblestone streets, historic houses, and lively atmosphere help make it a top destination in Cuba.
Cienfuegos
Cienfuegos is a midsized town set along the south-central coast of Cuba. It has a pleasant colonial center, and French-styled boulevards that are perfect for strolling.
Miramar Neighborhood
Miramar is best known for its embassies, which line Quinta Avenue (or “Fifth Avenue” in English). With its distinctive tower, the Russian Embassy is one of the most striking. Along Quinta Avenue you’ll also find interesting landmarks like the mansion called Casa de la Tejas Verdes (House of the Green Tiles), and Reloj de Quinta Avenida, a large clock.
Havana
Havana is a beautiful and captivating city. It’s home to the country’s most thriving cultural, culinary, and artistic scenes, and is a fascinating intersection between Spanish colonialism and Cuban Communism. The people here are friendly and welcoming, and it’s easy to spend an entire week strolling its streets, visiting museums, and listening to live music.
