A Beautiful Vacation Beyond Our Expectations
It was a beautiful vacation. We tagged along with our children and grandchildren on their Panama trip and Harold made sure we were included with all the planned activities.
A last-minute trip made perfect…
My partner and I booked this trip to Panama last minute because we wanted to tag along with our children’s vacation. Harold was very responsive and helpful in planning our accommodation and route to match with theirs. First, we stayed in Gamboa at the Rainforest Resort. It was a beautiful place to stay with excellent and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable, but I can’t say enough good things about the spectacular view! Although we were not far from Panama City, we felt as if we were enclosed in a huge rainforest the whole time.
Stunning views at El Valle de Anton…
We stayed at El Valle de Anton for a few nights. We enjoyed Los Mandarinos. It was very beautiful and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Nestled in the highlands near the volcanoes, our hotel had a rustic/Tuscan architectural design and was so, so lovely. We would have stayed longer if we could have. It was a wonderful experience. Our last few days at Playa Blanca were extremely relaxing, we might have to come back again on our own!

Lying along the banks of the Panama Canal halfway across the isthmus, Gamboa is about a 45-minute drive from Panama City. With an abundance of natural beauty and an incredibly close distance to Panama City, this area is simply a must for anyone passing through the capital.
El Valle de Anton
Nestled into the valley of an extinct volcano, El Valle is a pleasant highland town in central Panama. Its 600 meters above sea level make it much cooler than the lowlands, and its wide range of activities – including canopy tours, hot springs, and a bustling Sunday market – attract both Panamanians and foreigners alike.
Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca is set just west of Playa Farallón on Panama’s central Pacific coast. This lovely soft-sand beach is pleasant and borders a calm section of the ocean. Several upscale resorts lie near the shoreline.
