This hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel to the Santa Catalina Monastery, which was built in the 16th century. Buildings that surround the monastery date back to the 18th century and UNESCO has recognized the center of Arequipa for its historical value. These Spanish-style buildings are famously built using the white stone that is native to the area. From Arequipa, you can go on day trips to the nearby countryside — take a walk to explore picturesque old mill called Molino de Sabandía.
