The amount of stray dogs have overwhelmed municipal efforts to make sure every pup is spayed or neutered, as well as vaccinated against rabies. Recent estimates calculate that the city has over 10,000 dogs that live on the streets. This shelter provides medical care, as well as assistance for injured dogs.
Locals consider these animals to be largely a nuisance, so you’ll be providing these animals with some much-needed affection. Make sure to wear clothes that are suitable for having lots of paws on them, since your new furry friends are sure to be excited to meet you. Make sure to come fed and full of energy — this experience lasts around three hours.
