Volunteering Animal Care

Take this volunteer trip to lend a helping hand at a busy animal shelter that provides a home and medical care to over 100 dogs in need. You’ll spend the morning cleaning, feeding, and playing with the rescued dogs.

The amount of stray dogs have overwhelmed municipal efforts to make sure every pup is spayed or neutered, as well as vaccinated against rabies. Recent estimates calculate that the city has over 10,000 dogs that live on the streets. This shelter provides medical care, as well as assistance for injured dogs.
