Paracas Discovery Diving

Paracas is one of the best places in Peru for diving — its blue and turquoise waters create an unforgettable setting for your first underwater adventure. This Discovery Diving experience is designed for beginners who want to try scuba diving safely and confidently, without needing certification. With calm conditions and a professional instructor by your side, you’ll explore a vibrant coastal ecosystem and see why so many visitors want to relive this experience.

Your experience begins with a safety briefing and a short introduction to the basics of diving. Departure is from El Chaco Pier at the agreed time, and we recommend arriving 30 minutes before departure. After gearing up, you’ll board the boat and head toward the diving zone, located between La Mina Beach and Raspón, an area known for calm waters and excellent visibility.

Once at the site, you’ll practice a few basic skills with your instructor before starting your guided dive. You’ll descend to a shallow depth (around 6–12 meters) and explore the vibrant marine life of the Paracas Reserve — starfish, seaweed forests, small schools of fish, and various coastal species that make this area one of the best diving spots in Peru. Throughout the activity, you are fully supervised by a certified PADI instructor, ensuring a safe and relaxed first-time diving experience.
