Casa Andina Tikarani is a quiet, mid-sized hotel with an excellent location in Puno. Most everything is accessible from here, including the main square, cathedral, and several good restaurants. The hotel has spacious common areas, including a living room with a fireplace and patio.

The hotel features 50 rooms. The rooms are quiet, simply decorated, and clean. All have a private bathroom with a hot water shower. There are places to store your luggage and a desk where you can write or do work. All rooms also have a wall-mounted cable TV—this is especially nice in case you need to fill any downtime. There is a safety deposit box for storing valuables.

Guests can start their day off right with a buffet breakfast. The breakfast includes eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, bread, coffee and more. It’s simple but filling. Other meals can be enjoyed at the hotel’s restaurant as well—the pizzas are especially good and come right from wood-burning stoves.
