The laid-back Watamu enjoys the view of the Indian Ocean from its little beach. There is a gentle breeze blowing off the water and the beach is blindingly white. This beautiful stretch of coastline includes its own marine national parks. Watamu is a great base for exploring the surrounding Gede ruins and Arabuko Sokoke Forest Reserve.
